Turning Failure into Achievement. Was the Theme:

A number of vital point were raised at the summit.

There are many Adventist men who have children outside of there marital homes for a number of reasons. However for one reason or another the innocent children suffer. While forgivness is sort sometimes because of differences with the mothers of these children the children are not provided for. An appeal was made by one of the attendees for the men to stand up and do what God has required of us to do re our children.

The senior bulls or adult men were admonished by Pastor Peter Joseph to Take their rightful places in the church. Without the mentoring ofthe Senior bulls the younger bulls will self distruct and the church on a whole. Men God has positioned you in the order he did because of a reason. It was discovered that when Children lead the way to church on 14 % of the house hold follows. When women lead the way to church 33 % percent follow. When men lead the way in the home 94 % follow Him. Men need to lead the way.

The question then is, how can we attrack men back to church without further damage being done.

What about Dr. Gays presentation, Toote Beneby, Pastor Brennen, Share your thoughts.

Commendations to Pastor Paul Scavella and all of the men that attended the 1st Adventist Men's Conference in Bahamas Conference. All of the presentations were very good and timely. As with the first of anything there are always things that could have been done better. i.e. Advertisements, T-Shirts, Hand-outs etc.

However, those things will be taken care of in the 2nd Conference. Of this I am sure. Once again, congratulations to all who helped to make the event a success!!

The summit was good and enriching. We need more of these. All the presenters were good. Although I enjoyed all the presentation, I would like to accept that the presentation on 'Will' made a great impact in my life. I wish next time that topic will be repeated. I need more enlightenment in that area.
Although I enjoyed myself, I have the following comments:
1. The summit could have made more impact if we had send the invitation with more detail of what will be presented well in advance. We could have also posted flyers with topic in our churches. For example, in my case I just went to the summit by faith trusting that the LORD had something for me. Indeed He had something for me. But, to be frank this approach of telling people the agenda on the same day does not work in this era/generation.
2. Include group activities. This allows interaction.

Otherwise, this was a very good program. I don't want to miss the next one. THE FOOD WAS EXELLENT.

I was a pleasure sharing with the man. I only wish all presenters had at least one hour more for interaction with the men.
